2. Purposes of processing and legal basis

(a) Purposes of processing

We process your personal data for the purpose of offering online ticket sales to third-party events. Our processing thus primarily involves personal data which are necessary to process in connection with our online ticket services. As a general rule, this involves:

  • Customer service and communication with you in connection with your purchase of tickets

When you contact our customer service or communicate with us in other contexts, we collect and process the data you provide for purposes of dealing with your query or question. Please do not provide any sensitive personal data to us, unless they are strictly necessary in order for us to deal with your query or question.

  • Handling the practical aspects of the transaction

When you book your tickets through UnitedTickets.dk, we process your contact and payment details in connection with your transaction.

  • (Electronic) delivery of tickets to you

We process your personal data when we deliver your tickets to you. We may deliver your tickets through our digital services or send them by e-mail or to your address, if you have opted in for postal mailing.

  • Ticket design and electronic generation

We process your personal data when we generate your tickets. These data may include your name and contact details.

  • Issuing refunds for cancellation of and/or changes to events, where applicable

If an event is cancelled or changed, or if you wish to cancel your purchase and receive a refund, we process your contact and payment details.

  • Marketing communications

We may process your data for purposes of marketing products to you. These products may include newsletters and other marketing communications by e-mail if you have opted in to receive such communications. We also collect data about your behaviour on our website. For more details, see our Cookie Policy.

·       Statistics and data

We collect data about your behaviour on our services, including about your purchase history. The data are collected in order to compile statistics and analysis about user behaviour. The data are used in an anonymised format and never for individual processing, automated decision-making or the like.

(b) Legal basis of processing

The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract) and Article 6(1)(a) (consent) of the General Data Protection Regulation (the "GDPR").

The personal data collected for marketing purposes are collected in the pursuit of our legitimate interests, see Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. We only send you marketing communications and, for example, newsletters by email if you have consented expressly to receiving such communications or if we have another relevant legal basis of processing. In this context, the marketing communications may be targeted to you based on your history and preferences.

We may also process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, i.e. in connection with legal obligations. This legal basis of processing is particularly relevant if we process the data in order to meet legal obligations or enforce or defend a legal claim.

3. Categories of personal data

As a general rule, we only process general personal data about you, and thus neither sensitive data nor data about criminal offences or convictions.

The data we process include especially name, email address, telephone number, address, payment card details, payment history, member/profile data and registrations for specific events.

However, member/profile data may include data about age and sex which are not in themselves sensitive personal data. These data will always be data that you have provided voluntarily, and you may remove these data from your profile at any time.

4. Recipients or categories of recipients

We may transmit your personal data, or make your personal data available, to relevant partners as relevant. Relevant partners include, in particular, the organiser of the event to which tickets are sold at UnitedTickets.dk and also payment services providers. In special cases, we may also disclose your data to advisors. For example, we may do so in order to comply with a legal obligation.

5. Data transfers to recipients in third countries, including international organisations

In some cases, we may transfer your personal data to non-EU and non-EEA (third-country) recipients. The recipients in question are UK-based partners. The data transfer will be made to fulfil the purposes set out in section 2.

We may transfer your personal data to the following third-country recipients:
